FALL BACK

Fall is here like it or not. After a crazy summer of fun and work, the weather is changing and I am starting to twitch thinking about what happened to us last winter. Lets hope we get off easier in the snow department. Below you can see some of my favorite projects from the last year. You can see more of my work by clicking on the titles to the left, and if you follow me on Instagram or Tumblr I will will follow you back. Thanks for looking.

Earlier this year I got to photograph at the new Smuttynose Brewery in NH. The energy company that helped Smuttynose make their new facility was working with an agency to highlight their amazing LEED certified building. I got to drink fresh Baltic Porter right out of the bottling line at 10AM. You can see more from the shoot HERE.

I got to shoot the cover story about homeschooling in August for the Schools issue of Boston Magazine. The subjects they chose were amazing and it was one of my favorite job of the year. Check out the article HERE and a gallery of outtakes HERE. Thanks to Eric and Toan for the job, and Zach Vitale for the retouching.

I got to photograph the Pawan Sinha for New Scientist. Pawan is a Professor of Vision and Computational Neuroscience at MIT, and his work on Project Prakash works with underserved areas of India and through his surgeries, gives sight to children that have have been blind since birth. Behind him is a painting done by a newly sighted child. Pawan is one of the most thoughtful and present people I have ever photographed. Read more about his Project Prakash HERE.

This is from a personal project about Slot Car Racers. (Scale Racing) See a gallery of images HERE.

I fell in love with surfing this year. After trying a few times here and there since 1995 I finally got a board and wetsuit of my own a year or so ago and I am hooked.  I got an underwater film camera to work on a personal project about it. Stay tuned.

I got to photographing for the New England Patriots shooting the opening celebration from a HELICOPTER. Coolest view ever. Delta Magazine reached out to shoot a photo of Assembly Row for a story about my awesome little city of Somerville, MA.
